The Castell del Remei estate is made up of 400 hectares in an outstanding location. It has some notable buildings including the castle, the winery, the church devoted to the Virgin of the Remei and the restaurant.
Today, Castell del Remei manages 140 ha of vineyards, of which it owns 70. In order to take advantage of the wealth and diversity of the designation of Origin, the other 70 hectares belong to local farmers, who receive advice and supervision throughout the year.
The winery produces about 800,000 bottles a year, which are sold in almost equal parts on the domestic and export markets.
The Castell del Remei wines enjoy widespread reputation both nationally and internationally and they have received numerous awards and excellent reviews from the trade press. In our desire to better ourselves, we have made a firm commitment to quality, constant research and team work.

Bodegas Castell del Remei was designed and built in 1780 to make aged wines.
The winery consists of 6 adjoining buildings covering a total surface area of 5,500 m2. All the buildings have a forged iron structure built on stone with walls up to 60 cm thick. They are built partially underground to avoid temperature variations.
Since the winery is over two hundred years old, conceived from its very beginnings to make the best wines and it is surrounded by vineyards, it can be considered as one of the most traditional and representative château–type wineries in Spain.
